Chapter 81: Chapter 81- Annihilation (pt3)
Zzzzwwwwooooooo!
BOOOOOM!
Suddenly hearing that familiar sound, Dreck's eyes widened, realizing that the sound was pointed towards them. He swiftly shouted, "Mia!"
WHOOSH
His body burst out with blue mana to protect his daughter at the cost of his life, tightly shutting his eyes while covering her, with other branch family members much slower to respond, covering their faces with crossed hand, waiting for the inevitable, which never came.
"How dare you attack my people?"
Suddenly, a voice resonated inside that place, causing everyone to remove their hands from their eyes and turn towards the source of the voice.
Each of their pupil reflected a back standing firmly against that indestructible force falling upon all of them, without any hesitation of self-sacrifice for all of them who just wanted to kill that individual.
"Young Master!?," Adrian's eyes widened, including all Crawfords who had swiftly covered their bodies with dense mana to withstand the energy beam and even prepared to shield their young Master, but they were late.
SLICE
SWISH
Their eyes could only reflect a sword strike sharp enough to cut a whole battleship in half, added with the spire which was always known to be enforced with Ether, strong enough to withstand a million tons of weight, cut into half.
All of their eyes can only look at their savior in awe, before their brains could process all those events, the whole battleship and spire fell onto the ground.
THUUUDDD!
The resonated sound of impact brought them out of their thoughts, and another voice added the burning fuel to their desire to survive this place.
"For the compensation of my house, I want all of your heads."
WHOOSH
"What are we waiting for!" Noah shouted, seeing his Young Master going as far as to sacrifice himself against 200 elite members of Devereaux Family's army, making him burst out in rage.
With those words, Anzac vanished accompanied by only a dozen of soldiers, proving the loyalty of this army division more towards Regina instead of the new commander.
Unlike the normal Army, where punishment was given for not following orders, the Devereaux Family seemed lacking in that aspect since these soldiers had free will not because of rules but due to their individual strength.
So, instead of being forced to work, they choosed to align themselves.
"Chief, please order us." Representing all other soldiers, one of the men arrived in front, before bowing in front of Regina, who took a glance between Anzac's small group and that young man.
These hours had already proved the intelligence of that young man who had manipulated all this situation, making her understand that it was enough for today.
"Send ten times higher Bill to Lady Drishti for my battleship and also, arrange a meeting with that young man after this night." Turning with all those powerhouses following behind her, she turned to leave the place while remaining three battleships too changed their direction away from the center.
ZRRRRRR
Their engine sound resonated before all three of them accelerated to return towards their base, already having received orders from their leader.
"I don't understand, Chief. Did you really think he will survive Anzac?" Feeling confused, one of the men present there, seeing his leader take the side of that young kid who just woke up from a coma.
"Who knows, maybe he can or maybe not." Regina's face formed a small smile hearing that question, somewhat her believing in the victory of that young man over Anzac, who was a veteran, felt amusing.
After all, her own plan was used against her, the strategy to use this chaos created by the branch family to blame them for treason and wipe out that young man, each of her plans was turned against her.
So, there was definitely a reason for her to support that young man, slightly peeking at that young man now engaged in a fight with Anzac, some words left her mouth, "Maybe we finally found our Liege."
'!?!'
"C-chief."
None of the members seemed to say anything else, looking towards the young man, his image slightly improving in their eyes, somewhat accepting him in their hearts.
They don't care about the strength of that young man who just withstood the main cannon which could have vaporized all of them and not even about how he cut through the battleship and spire with ease.
Since after all, their chief can do that too and at that with much ease.
So instead of strength, their chief's acceptance was far more important to them.
"We understand, Chief."
