Chapter 48 Fellow Disciple Eric
Chapter 48 Fellow Disciple Eric
After confirming that the hacker had stopped tracking him, Jiang Yanming decided to try hacking again.
"They didn't unplug it?"
He was surprised, because logically, after being hacked, one would disconnect from the network for security reasons.
"Is this overconfidence in the firewall, or a trap?"
Jiang Yanming pondered for two seconds before continuing to hack into the other party's system core.
So what if it's a trap? He's not a modern cyber hacker. Even if he falls into the trap, it won't affect him much; he'll only lose a connector.
"Good heavens, without any warning, those cyber hackers have had their brains fried?"
Jiang Yanming looked at the data being downloaded on the connector and felt something was off; this core data was too easily obtained.
While he was pondering, the data download was complete.
"We need to check it; there might be some virus program embedded inside."
Jiang Yanming verified the data, and the verification was completed quickly amidst the noise of the micro supercomputer's cooling system.
"If there's no virus, then the data itself is the problem?" He didn't pay much attention to this and took out a hard drive to copy the data.
His job was to acquire data, but the authenticity of the data was difficult to verify, so he could only leave that task to Mr. G, who employed him.
"Next up is the financial company... well, their internet is down."
Jiang Yanming began hacking and discovered that the other party's core database was offline. "Then let's move on to the next one. There are quite a few companies on the list, and we also need to check the related companies."
This workload is neither huge nor small, after all, it's a deal with a maximum reward of 3000 million Nars.
Next, Jiang Yanming hacked into one company after another. For every company that was still connected to the internet, its core database was copied and packaged.
……
The next day, on the morning of May 29th.
Republic of Ramos, Dulan City Airport.
Passengers were going through the normal security checkpoints when a blond, blue-eyed young man in a black suit walked into the security checkpoint carrying a suitcase.
drop by drop...
A piercing alarm sounded, and the flashing red alarm on the security checkpoint immediately drew the guns of the surrounding security personnel, who all aimed their weapons at the young man who had triggered the alarm.
This scene immediately caused the surrounding crowd to scatter and flee, not daring to get too close.
Ramos is too close to the Northern Continent, and news of mechanical madmen causing trouble often makes headlines, so most people know what's going on.
"Sir, please raise your hand for inspection!" a security guard said.
"I entered the country legally, and I have your country's permit in my pocket." The young man calmly put down his suitcase, then raised his hands, showing no intention of provoking a conflict.
Upon hearing this, a security guard cautiously stepped forward, took two folded documents from the young man's pocket, and then quickly retreated to a safe position.
The security captain took the two documents, glanced at them, and then looked the young man over a few times. Seeing that the man matched the photo in the documents, he waved to his colleague.
"Mr. Eric, welcome to the Republic of Ramos." The security captain returned the two documents to the young man.
"Ramos is really hospitable." The young man, Eric, put the documents back in his pocket. "May I leave now?"
"Of course, next time you come to Ramos, I suggest you apply in advance," the security captain shrugged.
"Thanks for the reminder." Eric nodded calmly, then picked up his suitcase and left.
The alarm was lifted, and the security personnel returned to their posts.
"Captain, was that a cyborg?" a security guard couldn't help but ask.
"He's a cyber hacker, and quite heavily modified," the security captain replied in a low voice. "Just keep watch and don't think about anything else. Just pretend you didn't see him."
"Yes." The security personnel looked solemn, understanding the implications, but still couldn't help looking at the back of the cyber hacker as he disappeared into the crowd.
……
Outside the airport.
A burly man in black saw Eric emerge with the crowd and went to greet him: "Mr. A?"
"That's me," Eric nodded.
"Please follow me." The burly man in black led Eric to the waiting car.
The burly man in black sat in the passenger seat, took out a cell phone and handed it to Eric in the back seat, "Mr. A, this phone only contains Miss's number."
"Okay." Eric took the phone and dialed the only number on it.
"Mr. A, you've finally arrived," Chris's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"That's the earliest flight available," Eric explained first, then asked, "How's the situation?"
"Not good. Two cyber hackers were burned to death last night, and two others are seriously injured and unable to work," Chris sighed.
"It's obvious those four cyber hackers aren't very capable; they're probably only good at uploading mindless virus programs." Eric smiled confidently. "To deal with J, we'll need at least some of the most renowned hackers from the Quad Alliance."
"It's precisely because Mr. J is so difficult to deal with that we've asked Mr. A to take action," Chris said with a hint of praise in her voice. "You two are old rivals, with each of you winning and losing. We hope that this time, Mr. A, you will emerge victorious."
"Of course!" Eric gripped his phone tightly, his expression solemn.
"So, Mr. A, how can we help you?" Chris asked.
"I need a supercomputer and a hacker chair. Don't try to fool me with cheap stuff," Eric stated his requirements.
"No problem, is there anything else you need?" Chris asked again.
"That's all." Eric changed the subject. "I've been a bit extreme in my actions, but it was all to deal with J, so I hope you can understand, Miss Chris, and help me clean up this mess."
"What are you planning to do?" Chris had a bad feeling.
"You'll see then." Eric hung up the phone abruptly, tossed it onto an empty seat, glanced out the window at the airport, and silently thought, "Jiang, this time I'll definitely win!"
……
Three hours later.
Milin City Suburban Industrial Park.
"The financial company's network seems to have been restored, but I wonder if the core data is still connected..."
After resting for six hours, Jiang Yanming ate something simple and then sat down at his desk to continue working.
When he successfully hacked into the financial company's data network, he encountered strong resistance and interference. It was a very difficult opponent, and the opponent seemed to be very familiar with his hacking process, constantly setting traps for him.
At the same time, the other party's various methods gave him a sense of familiarity, and subsequent confrontations confirmed that the other party was someone he knew.
At this point, a name unconsciously popped into Jiang Yanming's mind—Eric!
That was an electronics hacker who studied under the same master as him, and they had never gotten along.
To be precise, Eric was opposing him in order to win, to prove that he was stronger and more qualified to inherit the "Light and Shadow" aircraft.
"They really are like a persistent ghost."
Jiang Yanming frowned slightly, his mind involuntarily recalling the promise he had made to his teacher.
