Chapter 249 - 249: Ch 249: A Sucessful Negotiation

This rejection was surprising to not just the Archduke's Son Gregory but also to the ladies who were with him. The shocked expression on their faces was quite clear.But Gregory actually showed some guts and managed to control himself. He then suddenly apologied and told the ladies that he had forgotten himself in his excitement.

Gregory was not stupid. Looking at the faces of the ladies, he had immediately understood that there was nothing he could say that would convince these ladies to stay with him.

So without making a fool of himself, he decided to give up on getting the best possible result. At the same time, he used his life force to impact his bones which gave him a short lasting but intense pain.

This way, his lustful and hyper active mind finally started to come down.

After learning what request these ladies had, Gregory actually sighed in relief in his heart. That was because, this request was actually not hard for him to fulfill.

Each of the archduke families were given a huge quota for the people whom they could give permission for entering this place.

The royal family had kept it very strictly under their control for more than 200 years. But recently, about 2 years ago, the main item that they were targeting in that place had run dry.

So because of this reason, the value of this place had went down in the eyes of the royal family. As for the rest of things that this place had, they were not really that important.

This was the reason why in the last two years, the Archdukes were given a huge amount of quota to enter this restricted place as a form of goodwill from the royal family. And this quota was so large that most of it had went to waste last year.

Because of this reason, getting the permit for the ladies would not be too hard for him. But even though that was the case, this permit was still extremely valuable to a commoner or even lower ranking nobles.

With that in mind, immediately Gregory replied that it was something that he could manage. But for this potion's formula, he could only gather one permit. Or he would suffer a huge loss.

This was definitely a lie. Even securing ten such permits would but be a big deal for him. But there was no need for the ladies to know this internal matter.

But unfortunately for him, Weiss was capable of seeing the internal thought of a person roughly through her extremely powerful senses. So with that ability, she was able to easily find out that Gregory was lying.

With this information, Weiss immediately realised that securing those permits should not be a big deal to this person. If that was the case, then the other Archduke's should also have a similar capabilities.

This man himself was a bigshot but his reach was still limited. For this reason, Weiss was able to speculate with certainty that he would be relying on his family to secure these permits.

So with this in mind, Weiss first gave him some very valuable bone. She told him that alongside the weapon boosting potion formula, she was willing to give him some extra formulas which could create similar kind of potion but with less potency.

In that case, the Dismond family could keep the better ones for their own internal use and send the inferior ones to the market. This would increase the value of the better quality potions and would also give the Dismond family a great advantage in case of a war.

So the offer that Weiss had given, it was actually irresistible for Gregory. The to finish him off, Weiss told him directly that if he was not willing to give her three permits for these two things, then she would go and contact another one of the Archduke families.

All the Archdukes were openly and secretly competing with one another. So if Gregory allowed this to happen and let the formula for this valuable potion to fall into the hands of an enemy family, then his standing would be damaged greatly.

There was a possibility that this lady was just bragging about having connections with other families but with her talent, it was not something completely impossible. So there was no way Gregory was able to take the risk.

So after a little bit of internal struggle, he agreed to the terms and decided to get three permits for Weiss. So the negotiations ended in a very positive note.

And now that it was over, Gregory stopped holding back his lust and came beside Elise and hugged her. Elise obviously did not reject it at all and instead even gave the man a mouth to mouth lewd and deep kiss.

So it looked like now it was time for some after negotiation sexual bonding.
