Chapter 240 - 240: Ch 240: Meeting Evan

This restaurant was quite big with close to 40 tables but among them, less than 10 had customers. And while looking at the food served, it looked normal but could be considered a bit lackluster with this nation's higher food standard.But Weiss was not here to eat anyways, so it was nothing for her to worry about. So after taking a good look at this whole place, she immediately went toward the payment counter where the owner was lazily sitting.

After coming before him, Weiss immediately handed him 5 gold coins while ordering with her beautiful voice -

"One mysterious deluxe plate please."

As soon as the owner heard this, he looked up and saw a little glimpse of Weiss's incredible beauty under the cloak. Then he immediately accepted the payment and stood up.

"Dear customer, for the deluxe offering, we have a special private room prepared in the back of our restaurant. Please follow me."

Then as the owner started to walk, Weiss calmly followed behind him. It did not take too long and they soon appeared before a room that looked a bit more luxurious than the other rooms of this place.

Then the owner politely asked Weiss to wait and went to knock on the door. After knocking three times in a special rhythm, he said -

"Old friend, you have a guest."

When the owner said this, a very young sounding voice was heard from the inside of the room, giving his permission to enter. After hearing that, the owner opened the door and invited Weiss to go in. But he himself stayed outside.

Weiss immediately entered the room and found herself in a quite well organised room filled with many books. This gave Weiss a familiar feeling as her own bedroom looked very similar to this.

In the middle of the room, there was a study table and two chairs. And on one of the chairs, a thin young man was sitting while reading a thick book. He had a glass covering his eyes and from a glance, he looked like a studious and weak scholar.

But with how powerful Weiss's senses were, this disguise was unable to full her. This man was actually a peak level knight, just one step away from becoming a grand knight.

There was another thing that Weiss noticed. Even though the man himself looked quite young, his life force was giving off an old aura which was lacking vitality and vigor.

There could be two reasons for this. Either this man had some kind of very grave illness or this man was actually an old person who was looking young with the help of some kind of magical means.

As Weiss entered the room, she removed her hood and took a seat opposite to Evan. Seeing this he laughed a little and said -

"Hahaha, this old man had been fortunate enough to visit quite a few otherworldly places but it is my first time seeing someone as beautiful as you. So young miss, how can I help you ?"

The way he talked was also very much like an old person. So Weiss guessed that her second speculation was correct. She had already heard about youth retaining and life extending magical pills. And this man was definitely using something similar.

But that was also not something that Weiss needed to worry about. So without beating around the bush, she immediately went to the main points and told Evan that she was here to see the catalogue of items that he had and also to gather information about the magus world.

The first request to see his catalogue was the most common one that all his customers had. But the second one was a bit special.

Actually most buyers of the magic item, even the nobles had no idea about where those items came from. Even the term magus was not a very well known term in this world. This was true even for the highly knowledgeable individuals.

So Weiss knowing about the magus was something very interesting. And it actually had been a long time since anyone had asked him about this matter.

So as Evan was in a good mood, he decided to tell Weiss some things even though information was not really something that he usually sold. But today, he was going to do so because of his good mood. But obviously, he was also going to change extra for this special favour.

But first, he handed Weiss the catalogue of items. The item selling business came first and after that they could talk about other things.

So as Weiss started to check the catalogue with serious eyes, Evan started to get a bit restless. And surprisingly, his reason for the restlessness was the beautiful lady before him.

In his younger years, he had been quite a playboy. With his good looks and his incredible strength as a high level knight, there had been little to no ladies who had ever refused to sleep with him.

But after several decades of continuous debauchery, as he grew old and even some of his grandchildren died, his slowly startes to lose interest. His body was still as fine as ever because of the special magic potion that he had luckily gotten his hand on but his mind was tired.

He had asked a magus apprentice friend of his about this matter and his answer was quite troubling. It looked like as he had forcefully extended his life, he had ended up creating some dissociation with his mind and his body.

But now it turned out that a super beauty was able to overcome this trouble of his with her sheer charm.

In the last decade, Evan had not felt that lustful toward anyone. But the beauty before her was able to awaken his hidden, sleeping lust even though she was not really showing off her assets that much.

But as a peak knight, his senses were very strong and he was able to perfectly perceive that this lady was not only beautiful but also incredibly sexy.

Still, even though he was really feeling a lot of lust, as an respected senior, he tried his best to hold that back. But he was not having an easy time.

So after some time, Evan was unable to hold back anymore and came beside Weiss. But he did not started to immediately grab the voluptuous body of the lady like he did in his younger years and instead made a polite request to Weiss after telling her about his situation.
